Les Vignes de Mon Père is Jean-François Ganevat’s most coveted wine and with good reason. Luis Gutiérrez sums it up nicely: “A truly world class white ... an eternal wine, the problem is availability.”

From Savagnin vines planted in 1930, the 2004 cuvée is a special 800-liter selection Ganevat chose to age in large barrel for 11 years, topping it up regularly until only 50 to 75 cases remained.

The 2004 is particularly special. Gutiérrez: “97 rating ... …as fresh as a daisy. The nose is both young and developed, and incredible for its age. The palate is sharp and precise with precision. Tasted next to the regular 2012s and 2011s, it looks almost the same age. It has a stream of electric acidity … highly recommended.”
